Stephen Ministers

Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. To become a Stephen Minister requires 50 hours of wonderful specialized training.

Care Group Leader

Group leaders facilitate a variety of our Care Group ministries, including: GriefShare, DivorceCare, Mental Health Support, Men of Integrity, and Cancer Companions.

Time Commitment:

Assimilation

Volunteers will help with contacting attendees from various Care Ministry groups, and assisting with bridging them to the life of our church.

Surviving the Holidays Volunteers

The Surviving the Holidays seminar is an annual event especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. The volunteer will help with set up, greeting attendees, registration, follow up, and facilitating a group.
