Welcome to Friends Kids…a fun, creative, and interactive place where kids and families embark on a journey to becoming authentic Christ-followers! The adventure begins with our weekend services. Our staff and screened volunteers guide kids through the Bible in our age-appropriate room destinations!
Saturdays, 5P | Sundays, 9 & 11A
Kids gather together in age-appropriate spaces to connect with others and grow in their relationship with Jesus. They enjoy music and the creative teaching of God’s Word through drama, video, and stories!
Wednesdays, 7-8:30P, Multi Purpose Room (MPR)
Fortified is a weekly gathering where kids are intentionally discipled, taught how to grow in their faith, and shown what it means to use their lives to serve God and others. They meet on campus Wednesday nights from 7 – 8:45P. This is the perfect opportunity for your preteen to connect and grow with God, peers, and leaders who are devoted to their spiritual and relational growth all while having tons of fun! Fortified will kick off September 19, 2018!
*We currently are full. Please register on our wait-list. We hope to open up groups again as soon but are waiting on more leaders to keep to our safety ratio numbers.

Meet Our Team
It has been Lori’s honor and privilege to be a part of our kid’s staff for 20 plus years! Impacting the lives of not only children but their parents has been an amazing opportunity. What better way to build the kingdom of God than in the hearts and lives of children. She is married to her husband Scott and they are parents of 4 adult children Tyler, Tanner, Coleman, and Katelin. She loves spending time with family, going to the beach, biking, hiking and taking fun vacations!
Carie is a lover of Christ, momma to the cutest little gal Cadence, and a wife to Chris, the man of her dreams. Her roots are from Oklahoma but moved here in 2008 to pursue a job in kids ministry. She has been in kids ministry for 12 years and is loving every second of it. She loves to shop, read, binge Netflix, eat chocolate, and take adventures with her family! She can’t go 24hrs without a Starbucks Refresher!
Alyssa is a Biola University graduate who majored in Christian Ministries and is currently earning her MA in Bible Exposition at Talbot Seminary. She loves to have fun, see new sights and is constantly looking for the best taco in town. Alyssa loves creating spaces for 3rd through 6th graders to be able to take one step closer to Jesus in a fun and authentic environment!
Early Childhood Director
Elizabeth Miller is a proud Pepperdine University graduate. Go Waves! She has always had a passion for early childhood teaching and discipleship – helping children understand what it means to love God and love others. She also finds great joy in connecting with and loving on her volunteers. When she’s not ministering at Friends, she loves to experiment in the kitchen. She also enjoys musical theatre and taking in some culture at local museums. Her four children and her husband, Brian, are a source of great joy and encouragement in her life and you’ll hear her speak of them often!
Early Childhood Associate
Natalie has her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has always loved working with children and is passionate about showing them how to love and live as Christ did. She counts it an honor to care for, pray for, and spend time with the children at Friends. She married her high school sweetheart, Keith, and together they have 3 amazing children who have helped her grow beyond anything she could have ever imagined. She loves animals, sunsets at the beach and watching her children play sports.
