Our Motivation

“Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?” Isaiah 58:7 (ESV)

Jesus knew what it was like not to have a place to lay His head (Matthew 8:20), and He invites us to enter into the plight of those who live without permanent shelter. When we take His heart of love and compassion to those who most need it, we experience His power in profound ways.

Who It Impacts

Timmy’s life has been transformed. After being introduced to God’s love by a member of Friends while living on the streets, he’s not looking back. Today, he has a job, a home, and a relationship with Jesus.

And all it took was one conversation to make a difference.

Helping the homeless doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. We want you to experience the joy of being part of the solution, and this is why we’ve created Homeless Street Teams. As we gather to prepare a warm meal, package the food, and head to a local shelter to bless and pray with our homeless friends, our lives are being changed, along with those we serve.
