At Friends Church, our mission is "Becoming a community of authentic Christ-followers, compelled to change our world." We believe in the transformative power of Jesus Christ and that true faith leads to a life of love, service, and impact. As a church, we are committed to growing in our relationship with Jesus, living out His teachings, and sharing His message with the world around us. We strive to be a community that lives authentically and boldly follows Jesus.
At Friends Church, we welcome you just as you are! Feel free to dress in whatever makes you comfortable—whether that’s casual or a bit dressier (i.e., some men wear blazers while others wear shorts and sandals. T-shirts, baseball hats, or your favorite sports jersey works too!). We ask that clothing be respectful and modest so that everyone can feel at ease and focused on worship. Ultimately, what matters most is your heart and your connection with God!
We want everyone to feel at home at Friends Church! Through our Amigos ministry, we offer services in Spanish. For more information, please visit our Amigos page or contact John Gudino at Johng@friends.church or call 714-455-4201.
In addition, we have a growing Mandarin community which has its own individual groups for Men, Women, and Parents. If you need assistance or have questions about Womens or Parent groups, please contact Jessica Lu at 626-715-4388 or email at jclu99@hotmail.com. For Men and Parents groups, please reach out to William Chu at 626-589-7636 or via email at willchu77@gmail.com.
Yes, we are committed to making Friends Church accessible for everyone. We offer reserved parking for guests with disabilities, and we strive to ensure that all areas of our campus are accessible. Additionally, we are proud to offer our Champions Club, a special needs ministry that serves families with children ages birth through adulthood during our 11A worship service. This amazing program combines care for your child or adult along with a Bible-based curriculum. If you or your loved one would like to participate, please let us know, we would love to help!
Yes! We offer a parents’ room for families with young children. This space provides a quiet area where you can still view the service and listen on a low volume while caring for your little one so you won’t miss a thing.
If you're not feeling like you are ready to place your child in the nursery yet, we have several viewing options for you which include our mother's room for nursing moms, our parents' room, our Awaken Cafe and our open air Pavilion.
