Our food pantry was born in April 2020 in response to the COVID pandemic. Food and hygiene donations were boxed up and volunteers delivered the supplies to families in need. As time went on, we continued to see a need for food in our city. So, we began hosting monthly distribution days open to the public in November, 2020. Each month, we've been able to provide fresh produce, meat, eggs, non-perishable food, and hygiene items to approximately 50 households. It has been such a privilege to show the love of Jesus to our community through meeting tangible needs like hunger.
